Text Box: February 2007
Chicagopostmodernpoetry is three years old.  We have had thousands of visits and readers, and for this I am grateful to our readers.  Chicago poetry is doing well except for the fact that world's largest poetry organization, The Poetry Foundation, continues to waste their patrimony and make poetry more irrelevant as they continue to violate the corpse that is Poetry Magazine. Harriet Monroe must be very sad indeed at what has become of her once great magazine.
This Month we have profiles of two poets that are not sycophants Tony Tost and Linh Dinh. These are two poets who do not compromise and do not play games and their books are interesting and worth a read. So use your copy of Fence to wrap gifts and pick up these gents new books.
