Chicago Poetry Project animated by John Tipton is another of the trinity of great reading series in Chicago. They are daytime readings which are great for people who cannot get out at night and who want to hear great poetry in the nicest room in Chicago for a poetry series. This year they have had, Hoa Nguyen, Eric Elshtain, Tyrone Williams, Joel Felix, Ron Silliman, Stacy Szymaszek, Rae Armantrout and Tsering Dhompa.
